Boris and his little brother Snud are two beautiful snow white Shetland ponies who live near the sea in a place called Southport.
They spend their days munching hay and love to roll in their sand paddock. But Boris and Snud are no ordinary ponies, they have a secret.
Sometimes on hot summer nights, and only when there is a full moon, (these are the special nights when there is magic in the air)
the two little ponies turn into unicorns. And just in case you didn't know, the thing that unicorns do best is fly!

In this book, the first in the series, the boys have a midnight adventure when they fly off to the beach.
